Grace Roanoke with your presence for the 4th annual Princess Party on Main Street! All young princesses are invited to enjoy crown decorating, nail painting, face painting and more. Guests are encouraged to wear fancy dresses for this party fit for a princess. The event is free and especially recommended for ages 2 through 12, though all who wish to participate are welcome!
This annual fun night on the town features food and live entertainment, in partnership with local restaurants, non-profit organizations and civic groups serving specialty food items outside on Main Street. The event feels like a neighborhood block party, for families and attendees of all ages with dining, dancing and chatting. With grills going, food cooking, and live music filling the air, Main Street comes alive with action and delicious fun. Proceeds from the event go to the Roanoke Chamber of Commerce scholarship fund.
k1ndgoods will be hosting a dying event you won’t want to miss! Ticket price of $26 includes three eco-headbands made with sustainable fibers. k1ndgoods crew will have dyebaths of quality dyes and colors as well as all dye materials. We will teach you the basics of dying, including interesting ways to wrap and tie to make unique wearables. Light refreshments will be served.
Please note: you are welcome to bring a prewashed garment to dye (for A $5 fee per garment to be paid the night of the event). Also, please wear old clothes!

Experience Indiana's premier car show as hundreds of classic cars fill the streets on Saturday, July 28th. This year's show features European sports cars, race cars and motorcycles. There will also be music and food trucks available throughout the event and fun for the entire family!
Join us for an embroidery workshop with Sabina Kittaka, of Tremble Hand Embroidery! Participants will learn how stretch fabric in a hoop, how to start a threaded needle and simple embroidery stitches to create a finished piece—a wall art hoop and sew on patch.
The cost of the workshop is $60 and will include individual canvas bags to keep supplies, two wooden hoops, two hoop patterns, patch pattern, felt, thread snips, embroidery floss and needles, all to take home after the workshop.

Have you ever wanted to elevate the elegance of your grocery list? Do you want to add a fancy flair to your mindless doodles? Ali Frebel of Frebella Calligraphy and Design will be teaching an intro to hand lettering class on June 23rd at the Trove Barn from 10-11am. This is NOT a pointed pen calligraphy workshop, nor is it a brush lettering class, both of which require special pen. This class will instead teach you the basics of creating modern calligraphy using a regular old pencil, pen, crayon, sidewalk chalk, or anything else that makes marks!
Guests will receive a custom, personalized notebook and pen, while light breakfast refreshments will be served. It's a perfectly creative way to kick off your weekend!
